Sara is the inspiration behind the pearls and so many other things that 'rescue' represents today.
She came to us in 2018 after being found as a stray puppy and brought to the shelter in Big Springs, Texas. Sara was fortunate to be spotted by one of our rescue partners and brought to us in NJ. She was adopted but returned by her family 4 years later. It was horrible for her and for us as well to watch her struggle. That wasn’t to be the end of Sara’s story because this returned girl was amazing - she enjoyed her time out with volunteers, and quickly showed us what a sweet soul she was.
Sara was shared on Facebook by one of our friends and was spotted by her new mom, Kathy and before we knew it, she was going home for her second chance! She is now cherished and loved the way all rescue dogs should be !
